About Us

Originally established in 1992 as Elective Electrical, in 2003 the company underwent a name change after the acquisition by Tshepang Reticulation. From humble beginnings, the business has grown into a trusted electrical services brand known today as the company that "brings power to the people". We traded sustainably before it was a government requirement to do so.

We have built our business on sustainable relationships, underpinned by integrity, painstaking attention to detail, and a true appreciation for the essential service we deliver, which is essential to communities developing and realizing the promise of a truly New South Africa. Employing more than 150 people, Tshepang Electrical is a black owned business complying with the BBBEE codes.

Our partnership with Afribiz Invest: In 2017 a transaction was concluded whereby Afribiz Invest acquired equity in Tshepang Electrical. The two companies share a common culture and a passion for exceptional service delivery within South Africa and its neighboring countries. Afribiz Invest (Pty) Ltd is a Pan African Investment Holding Company with a fresh new approach to both infrastructure and property development within emerging markets.

Today, most of our projects are based within Gauteng; however, with Afribiz's national footprint we expect a broadening of our client base and projects to take us beyond the borders of Gauteng. Our name, Tshepang means 'Trust'. We are entrusted by our clients, our staff and the communities within which we work to provide them with an essential service, we enable sustainable livelihoods for more than 150 families, and we care and trust our staff deeply. Without them we have no business.
